Derek Ip is the Chief Digital and Technology Officer of FTLife Insurance Company Limited, a member of Chow Tai Fook Enterprises.  Derek leads technology, digital and analytics strategy to help drive FTLife’s business growth.  His team is applying digital technology to create value beyond insurance throughout customers’ entire life journey.  Derek has been a leader driving insurance digitalization for more than a decade.  He has built and run IT and business transformation teams for several major life insurers in Asia.  Derek is passionate about insurtech, and is keen to facilitate collaboration between technology ventures and traditional insurers to achieve synergies.
