Shinichi KISHI is General Manager at Meiji Yasuda and is responsible for managing and developing the corporate strategy on SDGs/ESG. He also serves as a member of Sustainability Standards Advisory Council Japan.

Qualified as a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, Shinichi contributed his knowledge and experience to developing the IFRS for insurance contracts. He also worked within the secretariat of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) from 2006 to 2009.

In 2021 he assumed his current responsibilities on sustainability management & development. He made presentations on relevant issues at many occasions including IAIS Annual Conference in 2023, IFRS Integrated Thinking & Reporting Conference in 2024 as well as ITC Asia in 2024.

Shinichi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kyoto University and an MBA degree from the International University of Japan.
