Dr. Porus Peshoton is Executive Vice President - Underwriting, Claims & New Business Onboarding at Axis Max Life Insurance.
He is a post graduate medical professional, specialized in Preventive Medicine, with 29 years of rich experience in clinical and insurance medicine with Leadership roles in health and life insurance including risk management, operations, product development, training and wellness management.
He has worked with ICICI Prudential, Cigna TTK and Swiss Reinsurance in leadership positions in risk management. During his career, he has been academically involved with Insurance Institute of India (III) and authored various chapters in their publications for the health insurance curriculum as well as a speaker / panelist at their seminars and other industry forums. Dr. Porus is a member of the Indian Medical Association and regularly participates in the medical CME sessions.
Dr. Porus enjoys long distance running, swimming and travelling.
