Eddie Lau is the Head of Operations & Strategy, Client Digital Solutions, Asia, for RGA. In this role, Eddie leads the operations and planning for the portfolio of digital products in Asia, and works with the local RGA businesses in Asia to develop and grow their client portfolios by integrating digital innovations into reinsurance offerings.

Eddie brings more than 15 years of experience in consulting, innovation, and risk management, with exposures to banks, insurers, and reinsurers across Asia and the U.S. Before joining RGA, Eddie worked at McKinsey & Company, based in New York. There, he led and executed strategic projects for global clients in multiple disciplines, including corporate strategy, risk management, data analytics, and operations.

Eddie graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree, and from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in actuarial science. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
