Lapman combines his academic role as a Professor of Practice in ESG, FinTech/ InsurTech, Governance at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with his advisory role as the APAC Climate and ESG practice leader at Willis Towers Watson, where he advises Boards and CEOs on climate change governance and risk management, climate stress testing, net zero strategy, and operationalizing ESG. Prior to his current role, Lapman was a FinTech & Innovation and GRC (governance, risk, compliance) partner at Deloitte. Lapman is active in his industry roles as Board Member of the Hong Kong FinTech Association, where he founded and currently oversees the InsurTech Committee and is spearheading reguonal collaboration with the Malaysia and other FinTech Associations. He is also the Vice Chairperson of the British Chamber of Commerce Financial Services Committee.
