Andy has two decades of experience in the accident compensation, general and health insurance industries in both the consulting and corporate environment.
 
Andy previously worked for one of the largest insurance advisory consulting teams in Asia Pacific. He had also the pleasure of developing the advisory practice market for Hong Kong and China Markets. During his previous time in the corporate world he has worked for several insurance companies covering a wide range of roles including actuarial, underwriting and portfolio management, with the latest role being the Head of Personal and SME package division for Asia Pacific under Allied World before the Hong Kong Country Head role appointment.
 
As the Country Head for Hong Kong, Andy strives to set strategic directions and make operational improvements while delivering value for Allied World stakeholders. Andy leads a team of highly professional and dedicated managers who provide the Hong Kong market with a range of products to businesses and individuals to transfer risks. His responsibilities include providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the branch, creating and implementing initiatives that will deliver transformational change to the Hong Kong and regional operations, maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape and explore business opportunities, and ensuring the branch maintains high social responsibility while conducting business in Hong Kong.
