Darren is currently the LLG (LIMRA/LOMA) CEO for South Asia and the International Head of Bancassurance, a position he has held since April 2022. Prior to his current role he spent 9 years with AIA Group in a variety of Chief Executive Officer, Strategy and Business Development positions, including a period of secondment in AIA Thailand successfully implementing a strategically important bancassurance partnership for the country operations and group office.
Prior to joining AIA in 2013, he held several senior positions in the financial services industry in Asia and the United Kingdom such as;
-Regional Head of Partnership Distribution and Wealth Management in Hong Kong for Manulife;
-President and CEO at Manulife (Singapore) Pte., Ltd; (Agency, IFA, Bancassurance, Corporate Agency)
-Chairman and founder of Manulife Asset Management Singapore
-Chief Partnership Distribution Officer at Prudential Assurance Company Hong Kong;
-Director, Bancassurance Prudential Corporation Asia
-and Regional Executive at Prudential Assurance Company, UK.
