Klaas joined the QBE Group in January 2016 as the Head of Business Systems Management, Asia Pacific and was later appointed as Head of Application Management & IT Operations for Emerging Markets in January 2017.

Later that year, he became the Head of Program Delivery, Asia Pacific & Latin America and was promoted to the interim Chief Information Officer, Asia Pacific role in June 2018. In October 2018, Klaas’ role as the Chief Information Officer, Asia was made permanent.

Prior to joining QBE, Klaas was a Senior Manager with Accenture, working across Europe, Australia, and Hong Kong for 10+ years.
