David Tan is the Chief Data Officer at Income Insurance. As an executive leader, he designs and leads the data, analytics and AI capability development across the organization. He focuses on driving partnerships with cross-functional leaders and executives to leverage data and AI/ML to achieve digital transformation, business growth and efficiency.
David is an experienced technology leader having led strategy, data, analytics and AI transformations in the financial industry across Asia-Pac. He has built and led enterprise teams across Data & Analytics COEs, Risk Management, Marketing and Operations to drive digital, data and AI capability transformations.
He has worked and lived in multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region, driving commercialization of technology across multiple different cultures. In addition to his academic technology background, David is also a CFA charterholder.
