Ash Shah is the Head of IT, Asia at RGA. Previously, he was Head of Global Program Director at AXA Group Operations responsible for several large-scale transformation programs to ensure that the AXA Group exploits technological changes. Within his scope was the Move to the Cloud program, which focuses on a Hybrid Cloud strategy allowing AXA to better serve its customers and promote business growth. He also directed the Identity Management, Network and Asset Management programs.

Prior to taking on this role, Ash was is the Regional CIO and Chief of Staff for AXA Asia, overseeing IT operations in the 8 countries and a regional office in Hong Kong for 3 years.

Ash also held a number of senior roles for Whitbread Group, Financial Conduct Authority (UK financial service regulator), Zurich Financial Services, Accenture and Adecco on a global basis.

He holds a degree from the London School of Economics, as well as attended leadership courses at Harvard, Oxford and INSEAD in France.
